Do you take risks?
I prefer not to take big risks as a general rule, but I am open to them depending on facts and situation. If you don’t take any risks at all you just don’t grow. You don’t move from where you’re at right now, and frankly, life passes you by.
I weigh up the pros and cons and if I think it’s a prospect I say ‘balls to it’ and give it a shot.
This weekend, I had some mini wins:
🐜 I tried ‘Big Ass Ants’ (yes, literally). They were ok… A source of protein or something but nothing I’ll include in my diet. Tried them though 👍
🍊 Oysters in orange blossom. I’ve only eaten an oyster once before – it wasn’t nice and I had a bit of an allergic reaction. This however, was a real experience. Interesting to start but the aftereffects were overtly positive. Tasty and it made me feel happy and fulfilled.👍😋
🛏️ I booked a hotel mainly based on the bed recommendations. Oh. My. God. This is undoubtedly the best few nights sleep I have ever had. I might be a little in love with the bed 😍
🍭 I tried a spicy lollipop. At first I didn’t want it. I tried it and didn’t like it at all, but then I felt like I wanted to try it again. It was weirdly addictive but I still don’t like it 🌶️😵💫-
✈️ If I hadn’t flown, I wouldn’t have seen the most beautiful sunset. My rubbish picture doesn’t do it justice at all, but I watched it for ages, sans camera and it was beautiful and uplifting 🌄♥️
Taking small risks are important.
Sometimes you realise they’re not for you, but sometimes you discover something wonderful that has been missing, that you didn’t even realise made a big difference to you and your forward drive.
You might consider taking on a Virtual Assistant as a risk.
