All you need to know about Fortnite in 30 secs.
This weekend was another huge event in Fortnite, staged live in Times Square and Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice launched new collaborations. Fortnite is one seriously clever game and money maker.
⭐ Fortnite is an online multiplayer game that’s part battle, part building, and a lot of fun. The main mode, Battle Royale, drops 100 players onto a big map, and it’s a fight to be the last one standing. You can play Fortnite on most devices.
⭐ There are three ways to play:
- Battle Royale: The classic survival-of-the-fittest mode
- Creative Mode: A digital playground where you build your own worlds
- Save the World: A team game where you protect bases from creatures.
⭐ Skins (Character Outfits): Players wear costumes, called skins, to dress up their character. They don’t change how the game works, but they’re collectible, from funny costumes to big-name celebs. They range from singers like Lady Gaga and bands like Metallica, to Influencers and Superhero or TV/film characters like John Wick, Stranger Things or Spiderman. There’s ALWAYS a character or ‘skin’ that appeals to you, no matter who you are or how old you are.
⭐ Emotes are dance moves and gestures players can show off in-game. Some are genuinely funny, and a few have even started real-life trends. They’re fun, expressive, and part of Fortnite’s vibe. Think of ‘the floss’ as an example.
⭐ Fortnite is famous for teaming up with celebrities, from Eminem to MrBeast and Lady Gaga. These stars have either had their own Fortnite skins, music, or events, pulling in new and existing fans.
⭐ Fortnite has a massive following – a real mix of young players, adults, and even celebrities. Whether you’re 10 or 60, it’s a game that’s kept people hooked right across the globe. When you see how good the really experienced players are, it is mind blowing.
⭐ V-Bucks is the game’s own currency. Players can buy these with real money to get skins, emotes, and other fun add-ons, but nothing you buy actually changes your ability to win. A great present idea for a Fortnite player 😉 1000 V-Bucks would allow you to buy a smaller item, a single skin or a ‘Battle Pass’ which gives them a few freebies, but 2800 V-Bucks would allow them to buy them a ‘bundle’ of something they would really like.Epic Games keeps updating the map, hosting events, and adding new skins, so there’s always something new to explore or experience in the game. Some events will involve you playing the game whilst a huge event happens all around you.
⭐Well, that’s Fortnite in a nutshell!⭐
It’s free to play, easy to pick up, and has a little something for everyone – which is why it’s grown into such a worldwide hit. If you need some help breaking information down into bite size and simple explanations, take a look at this package I offer or send me a message.
